The holiday season at TeamSport Newcastle was anything but ordinary this year. Instead of the usual mince pies and carols, the TeamSport Race Academy transformed their track into a winter wonderland of speed, laughter, and festive cheer. The highlight? The annual Christmas Santa Run, where young racers donned Santa hats and racing suits to take on the track in true holiday spirit.
From the moment families arrived, the atmosphere was buzzing. The track was decked out with twinkling lights, festive banners and plenty of Christmas cheer. Kids were greeted by Charles and the dedicated TeamSport Newcastle crew, who had clearly poured their hearts into making the race unforgettable.
The Pitstop Challenge: A Crowd Favourite
The rules was simple, each driver must enter the black flag pit lane and choose a Christmas card, in it would be either a 5 second time bonus, a 5 second penalty, a 5 star jump penalty… or you could make one of the marshals to do 5 star jumps…
The excitement was palpable. The Grid lined up eagerly, each determined to beat the clock and prayed for a favourable pitstop card.
